HPU overhaul in the summer shutdown

At a plant that makes paving stones and other concrete products, the hydraulic power units of existing machines were due for an overhaul. Because this work cannot be done while the machines are running, the summer shutdown was used to carry it out. This shutdown is a short period, which meant the overhaul had to be completed within that window.

During the summer shutdown, we overhauled the hydraulic power units of the existing machines. We did not only overhaul the units, but also improved them by fitting new pumps. This means the machines did not simply return to their previous condition, but were improved at the same time.

The hydraulic power units were rebuilt and put back in place within the short shutdown window. This way, the work was completed during the period in which the machines were not in use, and they were ready again when the shutdown ended.
