From standstill to a spare and a better system

From standstill to a spare and a better system

A cement plant came to a standstill due to problems in a system driven by several Gold Cup pumps. With the system not working, the plant could not run, so the first step was to get it running again as quickly as possible.

To make this possible, we quickly delivered a remanufactured unit, which got the plant running again. Once the plant was back in operation, we took the old pumps to our workshop and repaired them there. In addition, the plant ordered a complete new pump. This means a spare is always available, so that if a pump fails in the future, it can be replaced.

The work did not stop at getting the plant running again and providing a spare. After a visit on site, we are now working out a proposal to improve the system as a whole. The aim of this proposal is fewer disruptions and a longer service life, so that the system runs more reliably in the future.
