Parker Hannifin has appointed DTA Hydraulics as its first Parker Certified Pump & Motor Service Center, marking the start of a network Parker is building across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The certification confirms that our supply and repair work meets the standard Parker sets for its own manufacturing operations.
When a hydraulic pump or motor fails, the part number is rarely the issue. What determines the cost is how quickly the right unit can be configured, repaired or replaced, and whether the partner that supplies it also stands behind it once it is back in service.
That is what Parker’s Certified Pump & Motor Service Center network is designed to address. Introduced in 2024, the programme gives operators of mobile and industrial equipment faster access to pumps, motors, parts, repair and remanufacturing through selected, extensively trained service centres. On 29 September, following an audit of our operations, representatives of Parker’s Pump & Motor Division signed and presented the first certificate at our service workshop in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht.
What the certification brings you
Pumps configured to your specification
Parker hydraulic pumps are built on a modular design, which allows thousands of variants to be assembled from a streamlined inventory of components. As a certified centre, we use that design to configure a pump to your specification from components held in stock, which considerably shortens the route from enquiry to a working unit.
Parts and repairs to Parker’s standard
We hold critical pump and motor parts in stock and are backed by Parker’s repair network across the region. Our technicians establish the failure mode, rebuild the unit to Parker’s standard and test it before it leaves the workshop, so your system goes back into service with a documented result.
A second life instead of a replacement
During remanufacturing, we replace only the worn components and reuse durable parts such as castings wherever possible. That extends the service life of the pump or motor and lowers its whole-life cost, while keeping material out of the waste stream. This continues the approach we adopted in 2024, when overhaul came in-house and repairing before replacing became part of how we work.
Built on a long partnership
The appointment builds on a relationship that goes back to 2009, when DTA became an official Parker Hannifin distributor. In 2024, GPR Hydraulics joined DTA, bringing with it a workshop, test rigs and technicians with decades of repair experience. Today GPR Hydraulics, part of DTA Hydraulics, operates our service workshop in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, where pumps and motors are stripped, inspected, rebuilt and tested.
That brings supply and overhaul into one organisation: the partner that holds your genuine Parker components in stock is the same partner that rebuilds those units when they wear out. Parker’s certification now confirms that combination at manufacturer level, and recognises the craftsmanship of the people in that workshop.
“DTA combines two areas of expertise: in-depth knowledge of our hydraulic portfolio […] and extensive knowledge of the market and customer needs. This expertise, together with its investment in equipment, makes DTA the perfect partner to support customers with the supply, repair or build of units when difficulties arise,” said Patrick Plassart, Market Development Manager, Hydraulic Pump & Motor Europe, Parker Hannifin.
“This appointment gives our customers a single source for genuine Parker pumps and motors, repairs using genuine Parker parts, and rebuilds completed to Parker’s exacting standards. With one of the industry’s most comprehensive inventories of Parker pumps, motors and components, we return critical equipment to service in days rather than weeks, wherever our customers operate. The certification sets a clear bar for what a Parker repair should be. After seventeen years of working together, being the first to be measured against it is a mark of trust in our people and their craftsmanship,” said Michael Damen, Managing Director, DTA Hydraulics.
